Description:

The project goal was to contribute to the secure and economical integration of Distributed Generation (DG) to the grids in Bulgaria, Romania and Turkey.

This was translated into the following particular objectives:

  • To investigate the effect of the large-scale implementation of DG on the distribution grid operation.
  • To identify design and operational principles and technical measures required for large-scale integration of DG to the grid.
  • To estimate the economic parameters of the considered technical measures.
  • To propose the necessary regulatory measures contributing to a secure and economical integration of DG to the grid, as well as fair cost allocation.
  • To identify priorities for further research.
  • To involve market players in the project follow-up activities, particularly development of distribution grids adjustment process.
